MOVE WITH STYLE

ZUMBA FITNESS

How it Works:
Ditch the workout and join the party!  This fun and easy to follow cardio dance class combines high-energy and motivating Latin and International music with unique moves and combinations that make you feel like you are partying on the dance floor.  A total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class.


Medium to High Intensity/Perfect For:
Everybody and every body! Each Zumba® class is designed to bring people together to sweat it out! If you think you are uncoordinated, non-rhythmic, and convinced you have no dance moves, we can convince you otherwise.  Throw on your athletic shoes and meet us on the dance floor! 

Music: 
Latin and International dance mix.

 

Dance Jams

How It Works:
Great music and fun choreography wrapped up into an awesome workout that will leave you sweaty, smiling, and feeling like you learned some new moves.  Express yourself through funky dance movement broken down in easy-to-understand forms that's been designed for those with no prior dance experience. 

Medium to High Intensity/Perfect For:
People who want that nightclub feeling without the nightclub.  You'll get swept away by the high energy of today's hits and find yourself shaking it under our disco lights while laughing so much that you won't even realize how hard you've worked!

Music: 
Current Pop and  Hip-Hop mix.

 

Turn Up dance fitness

How It Works:
Turn Up Dance Fitness is more than just a dance fitness format; its a movement, to evolve unapologetically, live loudly, dance ruthlessly and OWN our greatness together, while we take our fitness to the next level as we turn all the way up! Let’s Work, Shake, Flex, Slay!! It is a hip hop based culture incorporating HIIT, dance, and tabata, with some added twerking and booty shaking.

Medium to High Intensity/Perfect For:
Jess Milner combines dance with elements of fitness (Dance, HIIT, Toning, and Active Recovery - #CoreFour) in a culture that fosters teamwork, community, and energy we are able to connect and use our workout as therapy, a release, happy hour for that matter, as well as a way to stay active, healthy, and get physical results!

Music: 
Hip hop and pop from the 90’s to today’s most current hits.

YIN YOGA

How it Works:
Yin yoga is a slow-paced style where poses, or asanas, are held for longer periods of time to target the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine.  You will leave class with a calm mind and an enlightened spirit.    

Low Intensity/Perfect For:
Anyone at any age or stage of life, in any physical condition.

Music:
Soulful, calming, and inspiring tunes.

 

Power Vinyasa

How it Works: Power Yoga provides a unique and intriguing sequence that is designed specifically to improve muscle strength and cardiovascular endurance. The poses are challenging, yet approachable. While you move one breath per movement for most of the class, you may find yourself in longer holds as well. This power yoga class is a dynamic approach to reach a meditative state while also providing a killer cardio and strength-training workout.

Medium to High Intensity/Perfect for:
Intermediate yogis looking for cardio and strength-building in their practice.

 

HATHA YOGA

How it Works:
A traditional class that provides the foundation for other yoga classes.  Hatha yoga is a holistic path with focus on physical postures (asana), purification procedures, breathing and meditation. We will strengthen, stretch, and explore poses in a playful, yet relaxing environment. 

Low to Medium Intensity/Perfect For:
Beginners to intermediate yogis. 

Music:
Easy Listening tunes.

 

vin-yin yoga

How it works:

Vin-Yin is a Vinyasa and Yin combo class. The best of both worlds! The class begins with breath work and a warm up, then moves on to high-energy vinyasa flows sprinkled with some asanas, and finishes with a restorative Yin sequence.

Low to High Intensity/Perfect for:
High energy sequences and restorative poses all in the same yoga class.

 

GENTLE FLOW YOGA

How it Works:
Like Hatha Yoga, Gentle Flow will focus on physical postures and breathing techniques, with an added benefit of "flowing" from one pose to the next. A relaxed paced class designed  for all ages, sizes and fitness levels. We gently open all the joints of the body, safely stretch the muscles and relax the mind. 

Medium Intensity/Perfect For: 

Anyone who enjoys a more gentle, slower paced vinyasa (movement between poses in yoga, typically accompanied by regulated breathing) class. 

Music: 
Easy listening with a soft mix of acoustic and organic songs.

 

Flow & Restore YOGA

How It Works:

Immerse yourself in a smooth and fluid flow to strengthen the deep muscles of the pelvic floor. After the heat builds and the muscles are primed, unwind and restore in deep asanas.

Medium Intensity Perfect For:

This yoga class uses a combination of Hatha and Yin techniques, perfect for all skill levels.  

 

Feel good yoga & Stretch

How it works:

Create internal peace and mind body connection with this feel good yoga class. This class is excellent for athletes, dancers, and beginners; the ideal compliment to dynamic muscular forms of fitness to help stretch and open to your true potential. This feel good yoga approach is perfect for all levels.

Low Intensity/Perfect for:

Anyone looking to stretch and lengthen muscles to improve recovery, mobility, and overall wellbeing.

How it works:

Want to turn your yoga practice up? Slow Burn is a lot of fun, great workout, and overall amazing feeling in your day! Challenge your strength, center your balance, open your practice to the next level. This is class is playful with sequencing, challenging by holding postures, and a little different each time you come to class.

Fun music to open up your spirit with uplifting undertones!

 

relax on the wall

How it works:

This class is just as the title sounds, providing an opportunity to relax, on the wall. We lay on our back with feet up the wall, moving slowly through sequenced postures, allowing for time to rest and hold the pose. We aim for a very comforting environment, giving all students a sense of welcome and ease as we breath and anchor into the earth.

How it works:

A wonderful morning class to focus your day and get your mind in the right space. Movements to inspire your day and create a productive energy for your day, investing in your happiness is a great way to start your day! Rise up-Show up and receive blessing; one posture, one breath at a time.

 barre/mat PILATEs

How It Works:

This mat and barre workout is based on techniques developed by Joseph Pilates which includes concentrated work on core strength, body alignment, and muscular balance.  Use weights, resistance bands, and fitness balls to increase intensity.  The overall goal of Pilates is to lengthen and tone the muscles of the core without adding bulk.

Medium Intensity/Perfect For:

Anyone looking to gain strength in their abs, burn fat, and sculpt your body. 

Music:

Fitness workout mix.

 

PUMPED UP KICKS

How It Works:

This fusion class of cardio-kickboxing and weight training will get you pumped up!  Alternate between boxing and martial arts choreographed cardio and targeted weight-lifting for arms, shoulders, back, and chest.

High Intensity/Perfect For:

Fitness warriors who want to feel powerful, strong, and sexy.

Music:

Old school heavy rock and thrash metal for the furious.

 

Strength Training

How It Works:

This class is aimed at educating, empowering and inspiring all shapes and sizes and fitness levels to lift weights. You'll gain strength and build muscle.

Medium Intensity Perfect For:

All levels looking to build strength.

 

Barre & Booty 

How it Works:

This 45 minute class focuses on toning the legs and glutes by mixing Barre with traditional strength training exercises.

Medium Intensity Perfect For:

All levels looking to tone and strengthen the lower body.

Music:

Upbeat pop and rock.

 

Rise & Condition

How It Works:

Circuits of weights, core work, and cardio to start your day off sweaty and with lots of endorphins.

Low to High Intensity/Perfect For:

Everyone! We work on getting stronger, getting a little muscle definition, and having fun. Every single exercise and cardio move can be modified from low to high intensity. The class can be exactly the level you need it to be.

Music:

Upbeat music from the 80’s through today!

 

Soulfusion

How It Works:

SOULfusion is a creative blend of yoga-inspired flows, short cardio bursts, balance sequences, body weight and weighted strength training exercises all set to crazy fun music. It offers modifications for all levels in the group exercise environment (in person or virtual). SOULfusion improves strength, balance, and flexibility, and can help improve overall fitness levels. It is driven by music, movement, and motivation. SOULfusion is all of your favorite workouts wrapped into ONE!

Medium to High Intensity Perfect For:

All levels looking to build strength, increase flexibility, and improve endurance.

 

Stability Ball Fusion

How It Works:

Full body strength and functional workout with an emphasis on movement stemming from the core. Throughout this class you will utilize different pieces of equipment such as stability & Pilates sized balls, sliders, bands, and light weights.

Medium Intensity Perfect For:

All levels looking to build strength, stability, and balance.

 

HIIT

How It Works:

HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) is a cardiovascular exercise strategy alternating short periods of intense exercise with less intense recovery periods. The format is three rounds of the following format for a total of six minutes at each station: 45 seconds of high intensity, 15 seconds of rest, 45 seconds of lower intensity. Once a 6 minute block is complete, there are 90 seconds of rest and transition to the next station. There are 5 stations in total.

High Intensity Perfect For:

All levels looking to build strength, improve cardiovascular health, and increase endurance.

Turn Up and Tone TM

How It Works:

Turn Up Dance Fitness TM has a game changing formula that turns an intense interval training workout into a party, into therapy, into a release that can be life changing. Turn Up and Tone stays true to the Turn Up experience while adding another layer of strength training as a major focus.The EMOTION of each song drives the movements which organically lends itself to full body workout, the added resistance will be intentionally incorporated into the Turn Up formula.

Medium to High Intensity Perfect For:

It's called Dance Fitness for a reason. We do dance. We do fitness. We do Strength. We do toning. We train like athletes and perform like stars! All levels looking to build strength, improve cardiovascular health, and increase endurance.

Music: Hip Hop, Rap, and Pop from the 90’s to today’s most current hits.

CARDIO DRUMMING

How it Works:
This is the one workout that really ROCKS! This full body cardio jam session combines light resistance training (utilizing weighted drum sticks) with constant simulated drumming. This all levels class torches those calories while toning up and rockin' out.

Low to High Intensity/Perfect For:
Whether you're a fitness newbie or long-time gym expert, you will jump, punch, twist, and kick through an awesome playlist of upbeat jams and find yourself re-energized and just plain happy.  Modifications provided to meet your fitness level.

Music: 
Shake your groove thing to retro pop hits from the '70's and '80's.

Equipment available to first 30 participants who sign up  or bring your own.  Equipment required:  65 cm. fitness ball, 17 gal. plastic tub, and a set of drumsticks. 

 

cardio KICKBOXING

How it Works:
This class is a combination of cardio, boxing and martial arts providing a total body workout which aims to improve strength, aerobic fitness, speed, flexibility, coordination and balance.  Come try one of the most popular fitness trends and kick, jab, cross, hook and uppercut your way to a fitter you!

High Intensity/Perfect For:
This class is for the gym "rat" who wants to get down and dirty and blast those calories.  You'll feel ready to take on the World after this intense yet fun class.

Music: 
Hard-hitting heavy metal tunes

 

TABATA

How it Works:

Dubbed "the 4 minute miracle" by some fitness enthusiasts, Tabata is high-intensity interval training (HIIT) system where you go as hard as you can for 20 seconds, followed by 10 seconds of rest and then you repeat that 7 more times.  Doing as little as 4 minutes (or one "Tabata") can increase your aerobic capacity, anaerobic capacity, VO2 max, resting metabolic rate, and can help you burn more fat (and make you look 200-percent leaner) than a traditional 60-minute aerobic workout. That's right—4 minutes of Tabata can get you better fitness gains than an entire hour of running on the treadmill.

High Intensity/Perfect For:

Those willing to endure a really tough workout as long as the results are there.  This one will have you sucking wind and seeing stars but all evidence points to its effectiveness.

Motivating current hits and classic rock classics. 

 

Rhythmic Strength

How it works: This extra long class is a combo of all your favorites: Choreographed cardio kickboxing with Zumba/dance, some strength training, and finishing off a with a nice long stretch!

Medium to High Intensity/Perfect for:
Those looking to pack variety into their workout!
